*Beautiful tree shape like an inverted broom, and often used for roadside trees and garden trees. Flowers bloom with the development of new leaves. Beautiful autumn leaves.

*Designated as a symbol tree of the Faculty of Comprehensive Science.
*It is widely planted on the Higashi-Hiroshima campus, and is often planted from the Faculty of Education to the Faculty of Comprehensive Science and is called "Keyaki-dori" or "Zalkova Street".
